The weBoost Drive Reach Signal Booster is the most powerful vehicle signal booster that Wilson Electronics offers. It features the FCC maximum downlink power and an increased uplink power back to the cell towers that allows it to be 2x further from the cell towers than its predecessor, the Drive 4G-X. This means that you'll get the same great coverage inside of your car, truck or SUV and can be even further from the cell towers while still maintaining reliable call and data speeds.

The weBoost Drive Reach boosts all of the networks by all of the major carriers in the United States and Canada, including 2G, 3G, 4G HSPA+, 4G LTE and 5G, so you'll receive clear voice calls, fast data speeds, and reliable text messages. The booster broadcasts quality signal wirelessly inside of the vehicle, so you can use your phone like normal while enjoying great signal and fast data speeds.

The weBoost Drive Reach's inside coverage area will depend on your existing outside signal strength. In areas where you have a moderate existing outside signal, the Drive Reach will fill a normal vehicle with boosted coverage. As the outside signal gets weaker, the inside coverage area will shrink, until you may have to keep your phone within about 18 inches from the inside antenna in order to take advantage of the boosted signal.

Installation Overview

Installing the weBoost Drive Reach vehicle signal booster kit is very easy and can usually be done in just a few minutes. Because nothing is permanent, the kit can be transferred to another vehicle as needed. Please read the full weBoost Drive Reach Installation Manual for more details.

To start, place the magnet mount antenna on the roof of the vehicle. If the roof is metallic, then the antenna should attach without a problem, or if you have a sunroof, position the antenna well behind the sunroof to increase the separation between the inside and outside antennas. If your vehicle has an aluminum body, then please use the included adhesive disk to mount the magnet mount antenna to the roof.

Run the cable under the door weather stripping and into the vehicle. Mount the amplifier in the trunk or under the seat. The amplifier can be stabilized using the included velcro or by screwing down the included bracket.

Connect the outside antenna cable to the amplifier's outside antenna port and then connect the inside antenna to the inside antenna port of the amplifier. Locate the inside antenna near where you'll typically be using the phone, for example, in the center console or on the side of the driver's seat. Ensure that the cables and amplifier won't be damaged if the front seats are adjusted. Keep inside antenna at least 8 inches for any person and approximately 18 inches from where you typically use your phone.
