The weBoost Drive X RV (471410) signal booster kit is a great solution for anyone who needs better cell signal in their RV or large vehicle while it's moving or stopped. It includes a powerful, spring mount outside antenna, mobile signal amplifier, and a desktop inside antenna to broadcast the boosted signal to the part of the RV that needs it most. It will simultaneously boost all of the networks from all major carriers in the United States and Canada, so you'll get great voice calls, fast data, and uninterrupted text messages.

The weBoost Drive X RV is a great and affordable solution for RVers with weak to moderate outside signal, but if you plan to travel to areas that are very remote and need the most powerful solution on the market, then you'll want to look at the Drive Reach Extreme RV Kit, which has the industry-leading boosting both from and to the distant cell towers.

Inside Coverage Area

The inside coverage area that you receive from the weBoost Drive X RV will depend on the existing outside signal strength in the location where you're traveling or parked. In areas where you get a moderate existing outside signal, the 4G Extreme will provide a boosted signal up to 6 ft from the inside antenna. As the outside signal gets weaker, the coverage area will shrink, until the point where you may have to keep your phone within about 18 inches from the inside antenna to take advantage of the boosted signal.

The ideal way to talk on the phone while moving around the vehicle would be to keep your phone near the inside antenna and use a Bluetooth headset for mobility. Hotspots can also be left near the inside antenna, giving you the fastest internet speeds possible.

Installation Overview

Installing the weBoost Drive X RV kit is very easy and can usually be done in just a few minutes.

1. To start, mount the RV Antenna on the exterior of the vehicle using the included mount, and ensure that the antenna extends above the vehicle for a clear, 360-degree view.
2. Run the 25 ft cable into the vehicle and connect the cable to the amplifier's Outside Antenna port.
3. To the Inside Antenna port, connect the inside antenna cable that is connected to the desktop antenna, and locate the desktop antenna in the location where you'll be using your mobile devices the most.
4. Power on the amplifier and you should immediately start receiving boosted signal.
